Mirabelle plum tiramisu

A recipe for fruity tiramisu with Mirabelle plums, an original dessert that has the fragrant flavor of late summer desserts. It’s a great way to prepare these little plums!

Preparation of the recipe: Mirabelle plum tiramisu

  1. Wash the Mirabelle plums, pit them and cut them into cubes.
  2. Put the pieces of Mirabelle plums in a saucepan with the brown sugar and a little water and cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Let cool.
  3. Pour the plum syrup into a deep plate, add a little water and mix.
  4. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  5. Whisk the egg whites.
  6. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and mascarpone in a mixer. Then gently fold in the egg whites using a spatula. 
  7. Briefly dip the ladyfingers in the plum syrup to soak them.
  8. In the verrines, alternate a layer of biscuits, a layer of mascarpone cream and a layer of Mirabelle plums.
  9. Reserve the Mirabelle plum tiramisu in the refrigerator at least 12 hours before serving.
